Women in Nuclear (WiN) New Brunswick invites you to join us on June 25th, 2026 for a special guided technical tour of the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station (PLNGS), uniquely situated along the breathtaking Bay of Fundy in Maces Bay, New Brunswick, home to the world’s highest tides, significant migratory bird corridors, monarch butterfly habitats, and rugged coastal landscapes.
This unique experience will provide participants with firsthand insight into the innovation, and operational excellence behind clean energy production at PLNGS. Attendees will hear directly from station subject matter experts on Emergency Preparedness & Response, learn how the station collaborates closely with local communities and First Nations partners, and explore station facilities and emergency response equipment during a guided site tour.
This is a great opportunity to connect, learn, and see firsthand how Emergency Preparedness, mutual aid partners and community engagement come together in our industry.
