Join us for an exclusive Nuclear Facility Tour within the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at Ontario Tech University!
What’s happening?
Explore their cutting-edge lab spaces and step into the heart of nuclear operations with their Control Room Simulator – it’s as close as you can get to the real thing if you don't work in the control room!
Bonus: Bring a friend who’s curious about nuclear education or thinking of joining the field – it’s the perfect intro to the exciting world of nuclear science!
Where: Ontario Tech University
When: November 22nd, 10:00–11:45 AM
️Who’s invited: YOU + a guest interested in nuclear studies!
When: $5 proceeds donated to the Ontario Tech University Girl's STEM summer camp.
What: Information session on Nuclear Enginneering and AOOM program, followed by 90-minute guided tour of Ontario Tech's nuclear facilities
Tour Requirements:
- Closed-toe low-heeled shoes must be worn.
- No sandals, high-heeled shoes, shorts, or skirts.
- Must be at least 12 years old to attend, minors must be accompanied by a guardian.
- 24 person limit maximum.
Parking Information:
Parking Lot: Founders lot 2 Map link
Access to Parking:
- From Simcoe St N, turn down Founders Gate, turn right into the first parking lot.
- Take a ticket from the machine, you will be provided with an exit ticket.
- Upon leaving, insert the initial parking ticket followed by the paid ticket provided to you.

Meeting Location: Enter the building and walk through the atrium. We can all meet at the benches underneath the horse. Map link
