Cobalt-60 is radioisotope used to sterilize more than 30% of all single-use medical devices globally, and more than 50% of Cobalt-60 comes from CANDU reactors in Ontario.  It is also used to treat brain and breast cancer and other diseases.  Join this session to discover how Cobalt-60 is produced, processed, transported and used, and learn about how this Canadian success story contributes to the health and wellbeing of millions of people around the world.
