WiN Bruce Nuclear Jamboree for Sparks and Embers

Women in Nuclear - Bruce Chapter is excited to once again host local Spark and Ember Girl Guide Units for our Nuclear Jamboree. 

This event will be held on Sunday April 6th, 2025 from 2-4pm at the Bruce Power Visitors Center (3394 Bruce County Road 20, Tiverton, ON). 

During this 2-hour event we will be kicking things off with a Science and Experimentation Show in the auditorium, followed by a round robin of STEM and Nuclear themed activities and challenges.  Each girl will receive their very own Women in Nuclear badge to take home. 

Due to our jammed pack programming, there will be no food/snacks provided at this event. There is a water bottle refill station available so please have your girls bring their reusable water bottles. 

Please note: This event is being hosted by WiN, with our volunteers (of all genders) facilitating the activities. It is the unit leader's responsibility to ensure that all Girl Guide paperwork and regulations are complied with while attending this event. Leaders/approved adults will need to be present during the whole event to ensure adult: child ratios are maintained, as stipulated by Girl Guides of Canada.

Registration for this event will close at Midnight on March 6th.
