WiN Durham - Cameco Fuel Manufacturing Tour-Port Hope

Cameco Fuel Manufacturing (CFM) is a leading supplier of fuel assemblies for Candu reactors. Covering two facilities located in Port Hope and Cobourg, we are also the largest Canadian-based supplier of “in-reactor” components to Candu operators, both in Canada and internationally. CFM has more than five decades of experience with Candu fuel technology and the forming, welding, brazing and machining of zirconium alloys and other specialized metals.

CFM was recently granted a 20 year operating licence from the CNSC, the first licence of that length in Canada and is a testament to the commitment of CFM employees who contribute every day to safe operations and quality products. It also reflects the robustness and maturity of our procedures and programs, and our proven ability to protect people and the environment.

Please join us for a tour of our Cameco Fuel Manufacturing facility in Port Hope on June 13^th 2023.
